Thailand for the Christmas Break

We took off after the girls got out of school on the 21st and stayed in Bangkok for 10 days. We stayed in a nice hotel with a fabulous breakfast buffet! It was a feast every morning. We did a few day trips but stayed in the big city for most of the time. The highlight of our time was the skype/phone calls received from Natalie and Quinn!

Our stopover somewhere in Europe
We took lots of Tuk Tuk taxi rides around the city. It was a bit cramped for the 4 of us but fun.

So many scooters and small cars everywhere
We did a fun food tour and learned lots and tasted some interesting and delicious dishes

Metro ice cream at McD's
We hopped on bikes with a tour group and got to ride around the city

We got to visit a brass museum and shop. Wow! So much hard work to produce this!

We so much enjoyed our visit with Natalie and Quinn!

We took a long boat to the floating market

We got to pet and hang out with the tigers in the monk monastery that rescued them

We also went for a swim with the elephants in a very beautiful river!

We did a dinner show and watched some Thai dancing. Their fingers are especially bendable!

I'm still missing the sticky rice and mango!
