Two days before, the cameron community kids decorated heart cookies. Four moms (including me) made 6 dozen heart shaped sugar cookies each, for the occasion. Each child brought home a dozen or more decorated hearts. I used coconut oil in the frosting I sent, so most of it came back home. I was surprised to learn that most kids don't like coconut flavor! Unbelievable right?! So next cake I make will have coconut flavored icing. =) The kids ate at least a dozen while they decorated a dozen more. There were plenty of cookies!!

I helped Jenna wrap her cookies and tie on the heart notes she made for school friends. |

I made heart pizzas for Jenna's class party. |

Quinn chose cheese cake this year. And Jelly Bellies took the place of candles (since I didn't have 17). |

With strawberry sauce (made from the frozen berries we carried in with us this last trip home). Frozen berries cost a fortune here! |
We tossed all the balloons off our balcony and watched to see who could get theirs over the electric fence. Two or three out of the seventeen made it. It was pretty exciting =)
It's hard to believe Quinn only has a year left with us! It was just yesterday when he was stacking magnetics, putting together his bionicals, and playing zelda...
